Arlene Dee Smith Ceramic and Fired Art Teacher, Duncan Ambassador — Welcome to my website. I’ve been involved in ceramics for more than 65 years and I want to share my love, knowledge and enthusiasm for ceramics with you. I am certified in many ceramic product lines but I am 100% a tried and true Duncan gal; someone once thought my last name was Duncan! Located in the Phoenix, Arizona area I usually teach locally and in surrounding states, however I have also taught Duncan courses overseas. If you cannot attend a live class I do teach via webinars and also offer foe purchase my very own complete techniques utilizing a variety of fired art decorating methods in my Design Gallery. Enjoy the designs, projects and products on this site; each one is designed to help you create or teach, to add character or charm to your studio, your home or your student’s home.
